The aim of the project is to facilitate the assessment of Member State compliance with the requirements of the 2012/13/EU Directive on the Right to Information in Criminal Proceedings, and thus feed into the European Commission’s own evaluation process.

1. We completed a research on the implementation of the Directive in Lithuania. In the framework of the research, we analyzed the national legal framework against the Directive’s standards, and interviewed the lawyers, police investigators, and prosecutors. 2. We coordinated the delivery of the analogous studies in six other Member States. |
