2018-06-12

Human Rights Monitoring Institute presents 2016-2017 human rights overview. This is the ninth review assessing the implementation of human rights requirements in Lithuania in recent years. It looks at where we have made progress and where we are stuck and where we do not respect the dignity of others.

The Review is aimed at professionals – lawyers, politicians, civil servants – as well as the general public, anyone who cares about human rights issues.

The publication is prepared by a team of 17 human rights experts from the legal, political and other social sciences. The authors cover a wide range of human rights issues, from the results of the fight against discrimination and violence, to the right to liberty and deprivation of liberty, freedom of expression, freedom of religion and assembly, and protection of personal data.
