Natalija Bitiukova
Advisory Board chairperson
Lawyer with a background in leading data protection compliance programmes for large multi-national companies. She has recently co-authored the study commissioned by the European Parliament (LIBE) on the impact of propaganda on the functioning of the rule of law in the EU. Before that, Natalija worked for the European Data Protection Supervisor where she contributed to the Supervisor’s Opinion on Online Manipulation and Personal Data and held a position of the Deputy Director of the Human Rights Monitoring Institute where she led legal work in the areas of digital rights, criminal justice and others.
Dr. Milda Ališauskienė

Dr. Milda Ališauskienė is a professor of sociology and religious studies. Her research interests are freedom of religion, religious minorities, religion and gender, religion and state relations. Currently, she leads two national and two international research and networking projects, holds the position of vice-president of the Eastern and Central European Association for the Study of Religions (ISORECEA) and member of the executive board of the International Association for the History of Religions.
Paulius Gritėnas

Paulius Gritėnas is a philosopher, commentator and advisor to the Rector of Vilnius University. From 2013 to 2020 he worked in the media, at the news portals lrytas.lt, 15min.lt, and wrote commentaries for delfi.lt. Since 2021, he has been working with his colleague Viktoras Bachmetjevas on the philosophical discussion series “The Worse for Facts” on LRT Klasika Radio. In 2014, he was elected the Most Meritorious Person for Freedom by the Lithuanian Liberal Youth. In 2021, he was named a Man of Tolerance by the Sugihara Foundation. He is actively interested in and speaks out on various human rights issues in the public sphere.
Audronė Mažeikaitė

Audronė Mažeikaitė (MBA, EMSc in Communications Management) is a corporate communications expert. She has more than 16 years of experience in leading corporate communication functions in the telecommunications and energy sectors, and more than 8 years of experience in advising clients in various industries in Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Switzerland. She is a graduate of the joint European Center for Electoral Support and Institute for International Political Studies programme “Effective electoral assistance”, OSCE/ODIHR courses and has experience as an election observer.
Lyra Jakulevičienė

Lyra Jakulevičienė is a lawyer specialising in international and European Union law, human rights and has more than 20 years of legal and academic experience in international and Lithuanian organisations. She has published more than 40 scientific publications in the field of international and EU human rights law. From 2015 to the present she has been the Dean of the Law School at Mykolas Romeris University. She is an active member of European legal academic and professional networks, a pioneer of corporate social responsibility in Lithuania, co-founder of the free legal aid mechanism, co-founder of the transparency initiative “White Wave”, and the initiator and editor of the annual law report “Lithuanian Law: Fundamental Changes”.
